Since December 2024, the Goldalm has been shining in a new light: following an extensive renovation, the restaurant now presents itself as a destination for fine dining in the heart of the Alps. Designed by the renowned Viennese architectural firm Maurer & Partner ZT GmbH, the building blends harmoniously into the alpine landscape, combining modern design with traditional charm.
Guests can enjoy culinary highlights against a truly exceptional backdrop – with panoramic views of Lake Millstätter See, the Nockberge, and Grossglockner. A place where nature and indulgence merge at the highest level.

Hot meals served: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Opening hours: Thursday–Sunday, from July 2 Thursday–Tuesday
Approx. 1 hour walking time from the cable car mountain station and from the parking area in Seetal.
Dear guests of Goldalm,
For special occasions and reservations at Goldalm, our paid Goldalm shuttle service is also available.
We are happy to pick up up to 7 guests from the Seetal parking area or from the mountain station of the Goldeckbahn.
We offer one daily shuttle trip with up to 7 passengers:
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. towards Goldalm
- 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. towards the valley
The minimum number of passengers is 3.
Cost: €7.50 per person per trip (uphill and downhill trips charged separately).
